Mobile DVRs with anti-vibration function which can protect the hard drive installed in the mobile DVR. It will ensure the video storage safety from the movement situation.
GPS:

More advanced mobile DVRs include a GPS which can provide the location and speed information of the vehicle when you check the live video.
Multi-inputs interface:

Mobile DVRs can support multiple of I/O input. such as: ACC on /off of vehicle, doors opening alarms of difference kinds of vehicles. Even signals of left / right turning, over speed alarm etc.
Data Transmission

regular DVR requires LAN connection / and recommended 4G/3G dongles for data transmission. Does not have GPS, or any secondary data storage option.
Mobile DVRs utilizes Wi-Fi, 4G & 3G networks, which enable real-time transmission of data collected from the vehicle in – video, location, speed and inertial measurements.
